Secret Spaces: Rock*Ola Cafe, Brighton

The Rock*Ola cafe in Brighton is tucked away on Tidy Street and pays faithful homage to the 50’s and 60’s late-night cafe culture, complete with its name-sake Juke box and authentic memorabilia. Pulp Fiction meets Memphis Group in the colours and shapes of the furniture with pastel pink/mint upholstery and checkerboard linoleum floor tiles. Owners Pat and Al Berwick are passionate record collectors and it is immediately apparent that their passion has shaped the cafe’s undistlled aesthetic.
